Sounds like a great program. I like the idea that you are thinking of the "newbies" to the I.M. field. I know that I've been working at this since last June (not full time) and I don't feel that I'm any further ahead than when I started. I've picked up a lot from bits and pieces of free info that I've been inundated with (each time I sign up for some new "shiny" product).

Two of my biggest challenges have been:

1. Knowing where to turn for help with all things I.M. (e.g. what I should do for my first autoresponder campaign).

2. Being overwhelmed with the entire process.

Sounds like this program could be the answer I was looking for last June.

I wish this program had been around a year ago when I started looking at trying to set up an internet business. From a beginners standpoint I don't know of anything to add at this point.

The program almost seems a bit too basic with too much emphasis on just getting a site made. I'm interested in e-tail businesses and the real sticking point isn't getting a site made (easily done by signing up for a hosted software and adding products), it's getting the marketing program kicked off and getting from zero traffic to regular sales. The part between "okay I've got a site, but it's not doing anything for me" and "I've got this thing off the ground with a little cash flow, now it makes sense to do a program like Altitude and take it to the next level."

this sounds like the program that I have been looking for. I have purchased many programs, but the hard part has been "OVerWhelmed Syndrone".
I love to write, and I have started with an MLM in nutrition, and I want to tie it all together. find people online who have similar interests/desires, and not only sell e-books/membershipsite, but also use it to sponsor a team in my program to lift each other up and help us become healthy financially/physically/ and spriitually. Training can be done through a networking system set up with Noah St. John's new Living the Code program. A way to stay focused and learn the basic skills quickly and easily, with great tips would be great! A check list step by step, would be great!

A few thoughts come to mind...

1. The technical side really is a stumbling block that does need a step by step approach.

2. The price needs to strike a balance between making sure someone is serious and also being able to afford it. If there was ever a model to let someone make money while paying ... the value being so great that it pays for itself as you are doing it ... I would love to see it!

3. Here is a fear of mine for those starting an internet business ... that they are just creating another "job". I worry that they are creating a job that they are not going to like and have just changed venues from work to their house. This is certainly a step in the right direction, but is not ultimately sustaining.

Any way to direct people to confront the age-old problem of figuring out their personal passions and talents so that they do not just create money but also create meaning?

Eban, Im interested in your mention of the psychological factors. I just finished Jonathans most recent "manual". Not what I thought it would be, but...Im at the point of interest with my subconscious and focus, etc. Thank you

Hey! Great idea for a product! I am trying to start my online biz right now. I have a very specific idea of a business i would like to start in my mind, i just dont know how to take that picture in my mind and translate it into a functioning business with a webpage, email capture page, ect ect. I am most interested in learning how to step by step get things off the ground. While i love to learn new things, i dont wont to get overwhelmed with too much stuff before i get the basics down and actually have a business put together. I am not really interested in selling stuff on ebay or using amazon, my preference is to take the info product i have now, and begin marketing it as soon as possible so i have a business i can learn in. I have been interested in using eBay and some drop-ship products to list on auction. I have done some of this, but I find that the discount percentage is not high enough to compete with the Big-Boys who are into large volume quantities and great discount percentages.

I started trying to make a living on the internet about a year ago now and have spent thousands on trying to "figure out how" to do that. I found you after about 6 months in this industry and knew I had finally found someone I could really trust and learn from.

I've heard many others say this same thing about you: "Eben, you are the real deal." And truly, you are.

I signed up for your Guru Mastermind program and saw for myself the dedication and attention to detail you put into every single aspect of what you are trying to teach us. I learned so much from that program, but have to say that I didn't have the basic building blocks (such as you are trying to do here with Ignition) under my belt yet, so some of it was just over my head and I didn't get the full benefit out of that program that I wanted.

When I heard you wanted to do a program for newbies, my ears completely perked up, because knowing the attention to detail you put into everything you do, I knew this program would be just what thousands of people need right now. There is not anything out there even close to what you're proposing.

Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge program is the best I have found so far. It's very basic for the newbie and easy to follow along with, but nowhere near the scope of what you are trying to undertake with Ignition.

The programs you mentioned cover so much more than I could even anticipate, and I've been trying to make a living at this for a year now, so I'm not a "complete newbie", yet still feel as though I am in many areas. I have a website and wrote an ebook, but don't know where to go from there and haven't sold a thing.

I would love to see a program on how to set up multiple auto-responder programs and how & what to write in them to give value, yet ink out a sale or two or three as well.

I also think that one of the most important things you can have is a "help desk" that is open during the day and staffed with enough knowledge folks to give one-on-one technical help to newbies.

I think this is the cause of 90% of newbie frustration and with just a little individual attention for someone who is having an issue, can save them hours of frustration and help them actually move onto the next step versus just giving up.

I know I've almost given up many times because I just couldn't figure something technical out on the computer and didn't have anyone to turn to, to ask for help. Once I actually figured out my issue, it usually was something very simple and I had already wasted hours, days or even weeks. I have to say that those kinds of issues were always the most frustrating.

Right now, I do believe that your program needs to be priced right with the economy the way it is.

If you had a model where if we made money, then you did to; I think we'd all be esctatic and I know with all my heart that you are the one that could make that happen for us.

I love your idea for teaching us the Psychology of Money as well. You are an amazing teacher and I'd love to learn about this subject from you.

Just don't try to throw too much at the newbies at one time. It's all so overwhelming as it is at first.....I think just learning the basics is going to be enough to start.

Make sure to space things out enough so folks don't fall behind. I think the "help desk" will help you gauge the level where folks are with how many/what kind of questions the help desk would have to field.

I'll be looking forward to hearing about whatever you come up with next and if I can help in any way, I'd be happy to.

I'm not so interested in the starting your business basics, as I already have a business setup and this stuff seems very basic.

The kind of courses I'm interested in are specialized courses about a specific topic.

But I'm very interested in your mindset/success program you talked about creating.

You should create that as a separate stand alone product, I will buy it for sure.

I'm just starting to seriously research starting an online business, and am getting overwhelmed. I'd like to be guided step by step into getting a site up to do affiliate marketing first, and list building.

I have a website for my auto-brokerage business, but it's really a hands on business. No potential for passive income that I can see. But I love it, and have to keep working it til I can get some money coming in from an online business with passive income.

As far as pricing, I'm pretty tapped out with the economy as it is. I'd rather see the program broken up in segments and priced per segment with "homework" to do before the next segment, so we're putting what we learn to work immediately. Maybe have the class segments up and available for us to take the next one when we've successfully finished the previous one. And have an online community for discussion when we get stuck?

I have a 4.0 grade average in college, but never felt as lost, as I do on the internet.
Was a top selling saleman in everything I tackled. If i was not number 1, I was number 2, in large sales forces.
Back to the internet, I think one of my problem was taking on to much information. Your program sounds like a guide that would help me control info overload

A few things:

1. It sounds like you want to cover every aspect of internet business. I can't help but feeling that there has to be a level of "gloss-over" that won't allow enough time to actually get to the nitty gritty of how to make money in each of these dozen or so areas.

2. I love the concept of actually walking us through these processes live. So, we're in a teleseminar and all going to godaddy or wherever to set up our hosting and domain name. Then we actually all open our web-building program that you recommend and start doing the web development exercises along with you. THAT would be extraordinary, because by the end of the weekend, everyone will have actually come away with a completed website, maybe with some sales copy, the autoresponder set up, etc.

3. Basic marketing knowledge. I know a lot of people fail for two reasons: a) they pick the wrong niche; b) they haven't picked a niche. Again, take us down the path of where to go, what free tools to use, to research niches, define our product, etc.

4. Outsourcing. A few others on the blog have mentioned it, I mentioned it in my first opine in your survey, and I'll say it again here. I want to find people who are better than me & motivate them to work with/for me. How do I find them, how do I qualify them, how do I motivate them?

5. I could also really sink my teeth into a "pay as you go" type program. Just another newbie internet entrepreneur feeling that economic crunch a bit.

6. Psychology of money & wealth ... MUST HAVE!!! After picking the right product for the right niche, I believe this is the biggest reason people fail. They get started, spend the money rather than re-invest, or get blooey and spend it in risky areas, and the whole thing unravels.

7. I can't remember whether this is part of your offer, but a forum or some other place where there's always someone moderating who could answer questions 24/7. Education is ignition, but mentorship is lift-off.

WOW. You've really covered the waterfront here. Definitely sounds like you've got something for everyone. The big question is how can you offer all of that great content at a reasonable or accessible price?

Perhaps you might want to consider putting this into modules for beginners, intermediates, and advanced internet marketers? Or how about allowing people to pick and choose the units or topics they want to enroll in and have each of them offered at a specific price point or maybe have just a three-tiered pricing structure depending on how much content is involved with each topic.

I've taken a passive income course from Jay Abraham which was spread out with one teleseminar a month and a number of homework assignments, unfortunately many didn't get done by all of the several dozen enrollees. Great course, learned a lot. But it didn't provide the get up and running business options you've laid out here.

Here's a thought, why don't you use this new course you're developing to show us how you've done each step as one of your examples of how you do an on-line business. This is great however, some of us, (me), aren't newbie's, I'm actually aspiring to be a newbie. So...

First, would this program be repetitive as you've said, "over a weekend," ... what would happen after this weekend period. Will I be able to go back and review what I heard from your teachings and could I copy paste this to my notepad, etc.

Second, will this training be available on a physical CD or will it just be digital, (as in the 'Wake Up Productive') training for download. Many more questions...

Third, Keeping it low tech will be more of what I would want... yes tell us everything but in a language we can understand.

I've only been computing for 3 yrs. so this would be ideal for me... I don't mean you have to talk to me like I'm a 2nd grader... maybe a 5th grader would be more apropos.

H'mm, Eben, am sorry, being an agriculturist by profession, I was away in Indonesia doing some consultancy work for a Plantation conglomerate and hence had lost touch with some of your earlier emails. In fact, I did give my comments a few weeks ago on what and how you should come up with your programme - especially for those NEW STARTERS like me who are interested in adventing into internet business and marketting.

And, now, I had the privelege of hearing your talk in audio-video and, I must commend, from the bottom of my heart, that you have got EVERYTHING IN PLACE for a beginner like me. Yes, Sir, I can't think of anything that you have missed out.

If I may suggest, before you commence with each 'segment' of section of your training, do KINDLY explain the various terminologies, NO MATTER HOW SIMPLE OR ELEMENTORY THEY MAY BE TO OTHERS, that you will be using in your training sessions. Although a professional in my own line, I'm ashamed to be asking this as most of your "students" may already know the basics. I started using the computer only about 4 months ago - prior to that, I only knew how to use a typewriter. So you know what I am implying!

One more request if I may! That is, when you present your training, be it in written or spoken form, be as simple as possible. No doubt, I have a good command of Cambridge English, but there may be
others who may have difficulty to understand.

Apart from the above, I don't think I have any further comment. Yes, I wish to go seriously into internet business - especially on writing, editing, proof reading and, may be, marketting of products which you said could bring in good profits!

By the way, Eben, from your talk, I see that you are a VERY SELFLESS person who is ever willing to share your wealth of knowledge with others!!! This is one quality that few possess. And, for this, I take my hat off to you!

It seems that you really know what you are talking about. I would really be interested in the psychology of making money and business.

The only problem is that I get so tied up with taking care of my wife that i may not be able to make some of your lessons when they are scheduled so it would be a big help if you would furnish a link where a person could vies the information later.

Also I am afraid that at this time I would be really hard pressed to be able to afford anything as both my wife and I are living on SSD so if you could devise some way for wome of us to enter a program with no cost, I would be greatly interested.

Also I don't know if any or the tecnical stuff would be computer specific bu I am using a Mac and I find that a lot of stuff is oriented to the PC platform

I did your wake-up productive classes and have had success at building an on line presence. I have yet to make money but I know that is coming.

If your training is anything like what I have experienced from your previous training it will be a win, win for all of us that participate.

I am currently taking another online click by click training but it seems something is missing.

If I ever did training I would want to know on a continuing basis how my students are doing. Not just the few that make it to the top of the class.

With so many programs out there one thing that would set yours apart would be a way to contact all that participate.

Perhaps some sort of grading system, this may sound elementary to you, but if I knew how I was doing and what to work on next I think my marketing would be further ahead. I would even be willing to pay extra for that feature.

We all learn at different levels some are quicker than others. Some of us are left behind, always trying to catch up and by then we are even still further behind.

I am sure you have already covered all the basic training courses the only thing I would add would be a help and be helped forum. I am finding with all the training on line the personal touch is being left out, how awesome to have personal contact.

Nonetheless, anyone can learn how to setup the essential tools BUT the biggest constraint is * How to systematically put ACTION according to a schedule that produces results * for the tools that we need to put in place.
Bottom line is, we need a program that not only will show us the tools but the mindset to put action, productivity, elimination of distractions etc...
As far as giving input on what you may have left out, I would like to have some training on Ad-Copy this is so vital!

I am interested in producing real estate management audios/videos, selling them on-line, or offering them as a bonus product when people sign up for a ManagementMastermind group. There is a large amount of training available for agents but very little for management. I need nuts and bolts training....I am a real estate "expert" but a novice in IT. Help.

I think this looks like a good product. Especially the "All Angles" approach, covering selling, affiliates, JV's as well as freelancing. What would be fantastic would be to add some aftercare support/guarantees of success, perhaps in exchange for a percentage of your customers first yearly profits. I have considered quitting "normal" work to set up an online business a number of times but the fear of failure/running out of money before making it work, especially after spending large sums of that money on a "fantastic" training product has often been the deciding factor in not doing so.

Just 2 or 3 years ago I remember reading an internet marketing "beginner" course and through out the whole thing, the letters URL were used as if I of course knew what that meant. I honestly had never seen those letters before and kept thinking - What in the world is an "Earl?" :)

So remember everything is new to the beginner. An orientation module is a great idea!

Enjoyed and found interesting your video presentation. In my opinion, this type of overview and comprerhensive type of program is needed. What is especially needed is a nuts and bolts presentation on each facet of the course. The time frame for the presentation, a weekend, might be conducive from a presentation point of view, but problemmatical from a learning point of view. Am concerned about what the cost might be. If you are offering the program live, would it be available subsequently in replay form . If so, would it be available on a segmented basis to allow payment to be made over time as the recorded segments are offered. Would support be offered to respond to questions. And if so, for how long a period of time would this support be offered. This continued support could be a source of continued monthly income for your company in exchange for monthly support. I'm interested in this program. I have a fair amount of background from past study in internet marketing. Perhaps there are a few basics that have slowed me down that would be useful to know. I am interested in whether you will get in to SEO and to what degree you will present this info.

Hi Eban: Could you put together a timeline for the major components of your coaching program? As an example, when you plan to talk about 'Selling on Ebay'
how long will the course be and what would be the average estimated timeline for starting and acheiving results.

Hey Eben, this new course sounds great and just something I was looking for starting to get into online business. Will this course online or distributed on physical media too (my preference really as I always prefer to have a hard copy of what I buy and take with me all over.

Eban: Looks like you are covering all of the basics. Most people seem afraid to take that set and just jump onto the web and try. No single program will fit everyone to a "T" but once you can learn the basics you start eliminating fear. It still takes guts to be in business and keep moving forward in the face of set backs, but those are the only people that are a success, because they did not give up. Your program will empower many people that till now only had the guts to wish. Good Luck!

Let me start by saying thank you Eben, for your generosity in offering these scholarships.

I am a 45 year old husband and father. I have an incredible, supportive wife and two growing children that I can’t get enough of.

Until about 2 years ago, I had a great career as the president of a small local company. I hope I don’t sound like I’m bragging, but the company did so well that another company came in and made an offer so good that the owners of my company could not refuse. Long story short, the new company had a president, I didn’t want to accept a lesser position, I chose to leave.

Since then, I have been attempting to earn a living with my own internet business. Although improving, my success to this point has not been what I want or need.

What would I do with the additional money I would make if I was fortunate enough to be selected for one of your scholarships? Simple, I would:
1. Spend more time with my family.
2. Participate more in my children’s lives before they grow up.
3. Give back in a bigger way to those who need help (financially, sharing my experiences, etc.).

Why me? Well I believe what separates me from most of the others that you will consider for this opportunity is the fact that I have a realistic idea of what it will take to become successful. I understand that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It will take time, commitment, and work. I understand this and I am ready willing and able to commit to the process to become successful. I just need you to show me how. How committed am I? As I said earlier, I have been running my own online business for about two years. Through trial and error, I have had some success and some failure, but I am still here after two years. It has gotten under my skin. This WILL be my career. I truly believe that I will be a successful internet marketer, but if I had a mentor, such as you, to show me the way, my success will come so much quicker.
